By leveraging the experience of its long-term in-country support and relationships, VSATC provides comprehensive industrial planning and modernization for their clients that enable them to not only operate systems effectively, but also identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
VSATC assists their customers in the planning, procurement and installation of upgrades to their industrial capabilities to enable them to effectively operate and maintain their systems and equipment. VSATC’s accomplishments range from establishing new repair facilities, to creating national industrial training programs, to redeveloping entire national shipyard infrastructures.
VSATC’s industrial planning and modernization services include: industrial capability assessments, modernization planning, workflow assessments, new construction, renovation and repair, industrial equipment procurement and installation, IT infrastructure design, supply chain development, material movement planning, and overall logistics program development.
VSATC provides ongoing full-lifecycle support of systems transferred to client countries under their programs. This follow-on technical support (FOTS) includes design agent, in-service engineering agent, configuration management, field engineering, maintenance and repair planning and execution, infrastructure improvement, logistics and spare parts support, and training to ensure that the customer country is able to maintain and operate purchased systems at full operational capability.
VSATC offers extensive experience and capabilities in establishing In-Country Technical Assistance Teams (ICTAT) to provide resident design, engineering, program management, maintenance, logistics and training services on both a short-term and long-term basis.
VSATC provides a unique ability to organize and deploy ICTATs that most cost-effectively support customer requirements, and currently supports clients with ICTATs ranging in size from 1 to over 100 personnel, and durations of days to a decade.
